ADULT CLASSES (Age 18 & up)
ADULT SCENE STUDY
Mondays – Oct 4, 11, 18, 25 & Nov 1, 2010
6PM – 9PM
Instructor: Jack Lampert
$90 ($100 if paid after Sep 29)
This class is designed to help actors perfect their skills by working on several different scenes with each other. The objective will be to understand and interpret the character's thoughts within the scene. Classes will pair different actors together.
TEEN CLASSES (Ages 13 – 17)
APPROACHES TO ACTING
Tuesdays – Oct 5, 12, 19, 26 & Nov 2, 2010
6PM – 8:30PM
Instructor: David Coley
$90 ($100 if paid after Sep 29)
Geared to teens, this class considers the ways of approaching an acting performance, looks at ways of creating a character and analyzing a script. Students will learn the use of voice and movement to enhance performance. Appropriate for those with little or no experience as well as those with performing credits.
CHILDREN’S CLASSES
(Ages 9 – 12)
SHORT SCENES AND SUCH!
Saturdays – Oct 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 & Nov 6, 2010

Acting is reacting, and this class is designed to educate young actors in performing scenes with other actors. The focus will be on character development, making the right choices, and listening to each other.
(Ages 5 – 8)
CREATIVE DRAMATICS
Saturdays – Oct 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 & Nov 6, 2010

Performing can be fun! And this class introduces the young performer to the basics of the acting experience. Using theatre games, stories and music, participants will develop their creative side, understand how a play is performed and learn how to use their talents to create a character different from themselves. |
